My First Sketchup

Hi there, this is my first sketchup, not bad for a rookie. Please kindly have a close look at the model and please give some feedback on the design overall.

Here's my sketch which I decided to use for my first sketch up model. This is because they clearly represent something weird and something unique. The problems I had is that I should have done the shape on the grid and pull the shape. Another problem was that I didn't know to save my sketchup as a JPEG and publish it on my blog.

These are my first actual 18 sketches. These are not final versions as I will be developing them further. It's just the hatching needs to be improved and making the other half as the underground.

MY BEST PIECE OF CREATIVE WORK FROM MY HIGH SCHOOL CAREER - CD COVER DESIGN- "GAJBOX" HIP HOP CD COVER
This is my CD Cover Design that I had to do for Visual Design in Year 11. I also used this CD Cover for my Design & Technology Major Design Project in Year 12 which is a educational package (consists of brochures, pamphlets, activity books etc.) which helps Australians to come up with pratical solutions to solve the water crisis in Australia, shown by the water droplet mascot, "Mr Waterwise". My CD Cover Design is a hip hop CD Cover. Hip Hop Artists usually come up with gangster looks which is common when deisgning a hip hop CD Cover, so I decided to take a picture of myself looking like a gangster. The hip hop artist name GAJBOX which is a nickname I made up in high school is colour coded differentely with "GAJ" to show my real name Gajan and "BOX" which refers to the game system XBOX. XBOX also comes up with a logo, for my logo, I used a G and B as shown with the name "GAJBOX". The background has to be attractive in some way, therefore I decided to use random symbols and graphics for the background to make it interesting rather than just show a boring white background.

AN IMAGE OF A BUILDING THAT INSPIRES ME TO BE AN ARCHITECT- BURJ DUBAI (FUTURE'S WORLD'S TALLEST BUILDING), DUBAI, UAE

This is an image of the proposed world's tallest structure (Burj Dubai, Dubai, UAE). This skyscraper is created by the world's leading tall structure designers, Skidmore Ownings and Merrill. What's interesting about this skyscraper is that it has been taken from a nati0nal flower in Dubai. Another factor which makes me be an architect is to understand how the built environment is structured by the use of computer technologies such as CAD and animated walkthroughs, to show what it will look like when it's constructed. What's I like about architecture is that it's not about drawing designs of built environments on a board but visualising what the built environment would look like and watch been seen in real life as well as taking on board excellent ideas from nature or objects to make the built environment more exciting.

A PHOTO OF SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL -HOLDEN VE COMMODORE

This is one of the slickest cars made in Australia. Apart from the performance of this car, the VE Commodore looks unique compared to all the Australian cars because it is stacked with innovative features such as trip computer, a priority key as well as safety and performance technology. The car is also unique by it's innovative design which meets a particular era which is beyond 2000. Another interesting element is that the VE Commodore series like the Calais are styled like luxury Euro cars whereas the SS-V look more like sporty performance cars. The VE Commodore has won a variety of awards such as "Wheels Car of the Year".
